an in-state or out-of-state business hiring additional employees in Washington

Workers' compensation and unemployment insurance
Once you've registered with the state to be an employer, you will automatically be registered for
  1. workers' compensation at the Department of Labor and Industries


  2. AND
  3. unemployment insurance at the Employment Security Department
